LA CUMBRE

La Cumbre is located in a community of private homes where each property consists of five acres or more. There are two houses on this property on the summit (la cumbre) of the hill on a peninsula at the eastern end of Culebra. Its pink Caribbean-style hip-roofed structures are landmarks seen from most parts of the Island. |

The airport is about three miles from La Cumbre and the town is ½ mile further by paved roads.

There are stunning views from the house of both sunrises and sunsets, moonrises and moonsets – not to mention the views over the water of the British and U.S. Virgin Islands, Vieques and the Island of Puerto Rico. A favorite place to relax is in the shade of the umbrella on the west deck while watching the boat traffic in the harbor. |

The intimate nature of this house appeals to couples. Its breezy rustic
character invites a comfortable and casual mood. It has one bedroom with
a full size bed, a bright tiled bathroom with hot water shower and a
fully equipped kitchen with living and dining areas adjacent. A
covered deck wraps around the house. All linens are provided.
There is wireless internet access, VCR, stereo and CD player. |
